The Rockies have spent the day (very wisely) not pitching to Seiya Suzuki.
A walk. An intentional walk. And a “strikeout” that was hilariously bad:
One way to strike out Seiya Suzuki is to throw a pitch that was never particularly close to the zone and have it called strike three. Incredible strategy. pic.twitter.com/DcdEqoHrzt

Yeah, the strike zone is the INNER box. That pitch was never even close. So I count three walks on the day.
And this is why the Rockies didn’t want to pitch to him:
Seiya draws a lot of walks.
This is not one of them. pic.twitter.com/CmVxOldx1p
