The real creditable part here is that Alfonso Rivas, finally back in the starting lineup, immediately reached base in his first plate appearance (walk). It’s what he does.
Eventually, Rivas wound up at third base with two outs, Nico Hoerner on first base, and Rafael Ortega at the plate. Unfortunately, Hoerner got himself picked off (I *think* on accident … ), but he managed to keep himself in a rundown long enough to allow Rivas to steal home. You know, a sorta-kinda steal of home:

So, I guess bad on Nico for getting picked off, but good on him for staying alive. And then quite good on Rivas for just going for it.
