With the Cubs having lost their third game in a row earlier today, and with the team seemingly drifting closer and closer to confirming that competitiveness ain’t in the cards this year, I would understand if you’re not in the mood for “hey, today’s an anniversary”-type post.
BUT STILL, I cannot fathom anyone being annoyed about being reminded of this particular anniversary. Perhaps it’ll even take your mind off the current state of the Cubs for a few minutes.
