Everyone knows that Cubs outfield prospect Owen Caissie got off to a slow start at High-A South Bend, in what was a very aggressive assignment for the advanced 19-year-old. But you probably also know that he’s really turned it on the last few weeks, and tonight, he is REALLY exploding.
Caissie has already homered twice tonight, showing off his extremely easy power. I have no idea how both of these are going way over 400 feet:

That’s just such easy power, right? Those do not look like super hard swings – it just kinda looks like Adam Dunn up there when he would get ahold of one, and you can’t believe how far it went based on his swing.
Power isn’t the only calling card in Caissie’s game, as he also projects to hit a whole lot of line drives and take a lot of walks. Here’s hoping tonight is the start of a serious run for Caissie.
