Ian Happ is going to petition the Cubs to move to Cincinnati. The dude just LOVES hitting there.
In his first plate appearance of the night, Happ hit one 100.8 MPH and was robbed of extra bases by Reds center fielder Nick Senzel. In his second plate appearance, he laced a 101.8 MPH double off the left field wall. In his third, he drew a walk, and in his fourth he absolutely DESTROYED a baseball to restore the Cubs 4-run lead.
NEVER leave Cincinnati without a dinger. @ihapp_1 pic.twitter.com/euXkKi9FuY

Look at the way the pitcher cranes his neck to see that ball!
Statcast had that one at 108.7 MPH and 401 feet – but the launch angle made it look twice that distance. After reaching base three times tonight (including two extra base hits and 4 RBI), Happ is slashing .286/.399/.437 (139 wRC+) on the season.
Happ has hit for average and OBP all season long (his OBP is actually the 6th highest in MLB right now), but his usual power has lagged behind. So this was especially nice to see, Cincinnati or not.
