The Application of the Tarp Rarely Requires a Play-by-Play, But Today It Did

Chicago Cubs

A little bit of weather-and-grounds-crew-and-player-and-broadcast-related shenaniganry for your afternoon enjoyment, coming out of Memphis, where the Iowa Cubs are playing the Redbirds.

I don’t know that I’ve ever watched the application of the tarp in a situation where it required a broadcaster’s play-by-play to even understand what was going on, but that was the case today. Well done there by Iowa Cubs broadcaster Alex Cohen in a rather odd situation!
