The Cubs are out there slugging tonight. Through 3.0 innings, the Cubs have four extra base hits, including two doubles (Frank Schwindel and Christopher Morel), and now two homers – the Willson Contreras first-inning blast and Schwindel’s mammoth tank in the bottom of the third inning.
This first Cubs homer of the night gave Chicago the lead, the second one reclaimed it.

Seriously, he got all of this one – Statcast had it at 436 feet and 107 MPH off the bat.
Schwindel has been swinging a much hotter bat lately, and all talk of him returning to Iowa has completely evaporated. For the time being, the Tank is Back.
