The Cubs came from behind yesterday to topple the Red Sox at Wrigley Field in one of the more exciting games of the year (and that was following a 15-run-scoring win over the Reds on Thursday!). If they can win today too, it’ll mark four in a row and a series win over a very competitive Red Sox team. That would be a joy.
That said, it might be tough going today. Alec Mills is taking the mound for his second start and sixth appearance of the year, and it has really not gone well lately (15 ER in his last 8.1 IP). I’m guessing the bats will have to carry this one.
Go Cubs.
