Ian Happ Gets Tossed, David Ross Nearly Tossed for the Third Game in a Row

David Ross was ejected from Thursday’s game for arguing about balks. He was ejected in the earlier game today – the next game after Friday’s rainout – for arguing about balls and strikes.

And he was VERY NEARLY just ejected for the third game in a row when he dashed out to try to save Ian Happ from getting ejected (but Happ did get the boot). Ross had to dash out mid-interview:

Happ was probably right about the call, but just barely. Still, that trigger finger to eject was clearly way too itchy. Happ was walking away!

We’ll see if David Ross can make it the rest of the way without getting tossed. Gotta keep that streak alive, though.
