My wife and I were supposed to take my two nephews to their first game at Wrigley Field today, but after being exposed to COVID over the weekend, I didn’t want to risk spreading it (not to my nephews, my 7-month pregnant wife, and anyone I came in contact with). I think that was probably the right call, because I’m starting to feel something …. Hoping it’s just in my head.
The good news is that the kids are still going today and I couldn’t be more excited for them.
And hey, they’ll always get to say they were at Willson Contreras’ last game in a Cubs uniform at Wrigley Field.
