Boom, boom, boom-ish. Matt Mervis and Brennen Davis continue to have an excellent start to their Arizona Fall League campaigns this year, with BOTH already homering tonight. Owen Caissie, for his part, has already doubled. The game is only in the third inning, and the Mesa Solar Sox already have 11 runs.
Here’s a look at the Mervis homer, his first of the AFL season:
For Davis, the homer was his second in the AFL – no video yet. No video on the Caissie double either, but I bet we’ll get a look at something else good before the night is up. Like I said, this game is still early.
