Aroldis Chapman, 34, is in the final year of his deal with the New York Yankees, and is coming off the worst season of his career. Still, you would’ve perhaps expected that Chapman would contribute in the postseason and then return to the Yankees for some more seasons.
I doubt either of those things are going to happen now.

Wow. Yeah, that’s a broken relationship right there. The question now is whether any team out there will give Chapman a guaranteed deal in free agency. There is this issue, the terrible performance, his age, and obviously he hasn’t had a spotless off-the-field record before this year, either.
