World Series Pre-Gamin’: Phillies at Astros (7:03 CT) — Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread, More

Chicago Cubs

Aaron Nola and the Phillies clinched their Postseason berth with an early October victory over the Astros in Houston and now they’ll run it back against the Astros at Minute Maid Park with Nola on the mound for Game 1 of the World Series tonight.

The Phillies are the Cinderella story, seemingly dead in the water before firing Joe Girardi in early June, fighting their way to a Wild Card spot, and then fighting their way through a loaded National League field of Postseason teams to return to the World Series.

The Astros are in their second consecutive World Series and looking to finish the job this time after losing to the Atlanta Braves last year. It’ll be a fun one, and it starts tonight!
