Every year, I get more annoyed at the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field not getting an All-Star Game. It’s been well over 30 years at this point, and with the renovations complete, it seems like the perfect time to host in Chicago again.
But nope. Another announcement, another not-Cubs:
That tin can craphole gets an All-Star Game before the Cubs, who may not get it until 2027 at this point. That’s because 2023 is taken (Seattle), now 2024 is taken (Arlington), and 2026 has already been announced (Philadelphia).
I just want to go to an All-Star Game at Wrigley Field, and enjoy all the festivities of All-Star week in Chicago. Come on, MLB. Do the right thing for 2025.
