Cubs Announce the Probable Pitchers For the Next Few Games
The Chicago Cubs today announced the next three starting pitchers for the spring, following today’s outing by Marcus Stroman (and piggy-back by fellow starter Adrian Sampson).
Justin Steele will get the start tomorrow against the Dodgers, with Jameson Taillon starting Monday against the Guardians (Montemurro). Breaking up the righties with the lefty in the rotation, perhaps? Pretty good bet that’s the order of the front three when the season opens, if everyone is healthy.
There is a second game on Monday (split-squad day) and Caleb Kilian will get that start against the Diamondbacks. Don’t sleep on him!
