The Chicago Cubs Play Today!!!

There was no pandemic to shut it down or delay it. No lockout to make us wonder if it would even happen. There was no surprise zero hour snag to snatch it from us at the last moment.

It really does happen today, on-time, as-expected, like completely usual.

The Chicago Cubs play their first Spring Training game today! It’s fake baseball, but it’s still baseball!

Marcus Stroman will get the start, followed by Adrian Sampson, and most of the regulars are expected to start on the positional side.

Today’s game against the Giants is at Sloan Park at 2:05pm CT. You can watch on Marquee or MLB.tv, and listen on 670 The Score. The rest of the Cubs’ spring broadcast schedule is right here, though you can shorthanded it to: almost every day for the next month, there is a Cubs game (or two), and it’s probably on Marquee.
