The Cubs haven’t hit a lot of dingers this spring, which is something we’ll want to see looking a little different in the regular season. Jed Hoyer said it plainly and correctly at the end of the season that the Cubs need to be able to generate a little more instant offense. Not home run-RELIANT, mind you, but more homers.
