Dansby Swanson Hit His First Homer of the Spring with the Cubs!
Spring is saved! Dansby Swanson is fine! Home runs are proof of everything.
I kid. Still nice to see, though. Swanson’s first (fake) home run as a Chicago Cub:
In all seriousness, it’s pretty crazy to see how Swanson’s timing issues have meant he’s gone from whiffs, to fouls to the first base side, to bloops into right field, to that one hard one off the wall in right center, and now to a homer just right of center. He’ll just keep moving that way over the next week and soon he’ll be pulling the ball.
