WATCH: Dansby Swanson is Ridiculous on Defense, Confirmed

Already, just a game and a half into his Cubs career, we’ve seen some nice plays from Dansby Swanson, including starting a double-play in the first inning today on a sharp one-hopper.

We hadn’t yet seen a CRAZY play yet, though. Not that you would expect one to come within a game and a half, but I’m just sayin’, we hadn’t seen it yet.

And then we did:

That’s just a nuts play. The dive and field, yes, but then throwing as he fell to his butt *in the grass.* What a play.
