Hoerner and Swanson Get It Started, Wisdom Goes Deep

The Cubs have scored a run in each of the first two innings today, which is one more than they scored all of yesterday.

Nico Hoerner and Dansby Swanson got things started in the first with a couple hits:

And Patrick Wisdom got the Cubs their second run with this second inning blast:

Wisdom is so good against lefties, but Lauer has one of those rising four-seamers that you might expect Wisdom to struggle against. Probably should’ve used one there.
