Christopher Morel Just Homered for the Third Straight Game
A couple days ago, I wrote about how brilliant Christopher Morel had been in his first ten games of the year at Triple-A Iowa after being sent down at the end of Spring Training. Just bonkers numbers.
And then he homered the next two days.

And this was just now:
The 23-year-old utility man is on absolute fire. Yes, he’s still striking out near 30% of the time, which would not translate well in the big leagues. But he’s also walking near 20% of the time and absolutely WRECKING THE BALL when he makes contact.
I’m not saying the Cubs absolutely have to bring Morel up tomorrow, but I do hope there are big league starts available for him at some point this year. The talent is undeniable.
