Pete Crow-Armstrong is quickly becoming a “you just gotta watch this” guy, a lot like the guy the Cubs traded to get him (Javy Báez).

That’s absurd. That’s just an absurd slide. And his reaction to what he just did? So over-the-top and wonderful that I’m kinda giddy watching that play.

Maybe you’ll take this the wrong way, but it’s late on a Friday night and nobody can hold me to account for it: that’s the kind of play – and natural instinct and ability – that tells me *IF* the Cubs are in the race in the second half of this season, they’re just going to bring PCA up to contribute somehow, some way. You can’t waste energy like that.
