You’ve Got to Be Kidding Me: Gomes Just Homered for the Second Time Tonight

I honestly can’t believe the homer binge this Cubs team is going on tonight. First, Yan Gomes went deep, then Ian Happ and Seiya Suzuki went back-to-back, then Patrick Wisdom launched his fourth of the year. And now Gomes goes deep again?! That is crazy.

That one left the bat at 106.5 MPH and traveled 365 feet. In one night, Gomes took himself from a 2 wRC+ (which … LOL) to an 89 wRC+. That is one good game.
