Patrick Wisdom Crushed His 5th Homer of the Year
Patrick Wisdom homered again tonight. Dude is on pace for about 80 this year, and I think that’s conservative.
This 415-foot blast is his fifth of the year already:
That homer came on an elevated fastball, too, which is usually Patrick Wisdom’s kryptonite.
The only negative you could offer is that it really sucks that Eric Hosmer grounded into a double-play just before Wisdom’s at bat.
Wisdom is now hitting .244 .326 .659/153 wRC+ on the season, and it comes with a manageable 32.6% K rate, too.
