THERE’S That Power! Dansby Swanson Hits His First Homer with the Chicago Cubs

Today I wrote about Dansby Swanson’s surprising lack of early-season power, and specifically, that he hadn’t yet hit a home run. I concluded that I wasn’t worried, though, and said, “Now let’s watch Swanson hit his first homer this afternoon, right?”

I’m not saying I’m a psychic, but I’m not NOT saying it:

Thank you, Wrigley Field basket.

Swanson hasn’t hit for much power yet this year, but there were plenty of reasons to believe it was going to come in time. Nice to see him get that first homer out of the way.
