Dansby Swanson Triples, Seiya Suzuki Homers in Cubs First

The Cubs have jumped out to a three-run lead in the first inning in Houston tonight thanks to a Dansby Swanson run-scoring triple (Christopher Morel had walked!), an Ian Happ sac fly, and a Seiya Suzuki homer.

Swanson was owed this one after that “catch” off the wall last night that should’ve been a double:

And Suzuki homers for the second night in a row, and third time in four games:

That was quite a shot from Suzuki, who is officially on fire.
