That’s a series win already, baby! Not that I’m writing off tomorrow’s chance for a sweep, but it feels good to say it’s a series win.
Marcus Stroman was brilliant tonight, working down in the zone constantly with his sinker, happily letting the Mets beat the ball into the ground (which they did a whopping 15 times). You can’t always pitch to that much contact, but it was the perfect approach tonight.
