I was “mad” a few weeks ago when the Cubs kept losing winnable games in a season they looked like they might be competitive. Back when decisions mattered.
But “mad” faded a while ago. I don’t feel mad tonight. That’s what happens when a few losses turns into a constant stream of losses. When close losses turn into blowouts. I can’t even register anger tonight.
