The early block of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball games has been announced, and the Chicago Cubs show up twice in April. Hopefully they’ve gotten off to a hot start and make a nice show of it.

We’ll see if the Cubs get pulled into additional games in June and beyond, which will be largely dependent on how they are tracking, together with the attention their scheduled opponents are commanding. It’s more or less impossible to predict as we sit here today.
As for now, if you’re not a Marquee subscriber but do have access to ESPN, at least this means you’ll get to see two of the early-season games, first against the Dodgers in L.A., and then hosting the Phillies. Both should be breezy wins for the Cubs.
