What Stands Out:
Stefon Diggs currently sits as the WR6 in the fantasy football draft rankings.
Analysis:
Diggs has been the pillar of consistency since joining the Buffalo Bills offense in 2020.
Target Hog in an Explosive Offense
After many promising years with the Minnesota Vikings, including some incredible, memorable games, Diggs has seen his career ratchet up since joining the Buffalo Bills. According to 4for4’s Player Stat Explorer, Diggs has ranked first (174), fifth (164), and fifth (153) in targets, respectively, through his three seasons in New York. He benefits from a pass-heavy offense and his immediate chemistry with quarterback Josh Allen.
Hopping over to 4for4’s Fantasy Points Browser, we can see that those targets have equated to immense fantasy success, scoring him a WR3, WR7, and WR4 finish for fantasy managers. We can expect him to dominate the target share once again, which is why we see him ranked so highly in these fantasy football WR draft rankings.
From a real-life perspective, the team probably could have added a piece to the wide receiver room outside of Deonte Harty and fifth-round rookie Justin Shorter, but for our purposes, another massive season for Diggs will work just fine.
Who is Stefon Diggs?
Stefon Diggs is a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills of the NFL. He played college football at Maryland and was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Diggs is a two-time Pro Bowl selection and was named First-Team All-Pro in 2020. He is known for his deep speed and ability to make contested catches. He is one of the most dangerous players at the wide receiver position in the NFL and is a key part of the Bills’ offense.
Are there any other wide receivers to look out for in the 2023 fantasy drafts?
It’s difficult to predict with certainty who will emerge as top wide receivers in the 2023 fantasy drafts. However, several up-and-coming players to keep an eye on include Garrett Wilson of the New York Jets, Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints, and Christian Watson of the Green Bay Packers.
