Whether his rookie status or the Dalvin Cook rumors that swirled around the Miami RB room created Devon Achane’s bargain price, it really doesn’t matter because it’s highway robbery. The Dolphins added Achane in the third round for a reason, and his lightning speed in an outside zone running offense is the perfect complement to their veteran backs.
It may not be a hot start for the rookie as they tend to come on later in their first seasons in the NFL, but as a 15th-rounder in ESPN leagues, Achane makes for excellent depth as a potential flex player or eventual RB2.

Currently coming off of 2023 fantasy football draft boards at 11.12 as the RB43, drafters are proceeding with caution because of the ambiguity of the Dolphins running back situation.
