Fantasy Football TE Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:
Zach Ertz (Commanders) was the highest recommended TE waiver wire pickup this week.
Analysis
It feels like the tight end mess has started to heal over the past few weeks — with Mark Andrews, Sam LaPorta, and Dalton Kincaid scoring, Evan Engram and David Njoku back in action, etc. — but there are still several managers in every league who need help at the position.
Zach Ertz might be one of your best bets at that “help” … even if that just means eight fantasy points a week. The veteran has totaled 29 targets over the past four weeks and has 40+ receiving yards in three straight. He was a stud against the Bears on National Tight Ends Day, with seven catches for 77 yards on a team-high 11 targets.
Unless you have one of the (very) few reliable tight-end plays, Ertz is as good a bet as anyone to put up viable fantasy numbers week-to-week.

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football TE Rankings?
Hunter Henry (Patriots) is one of the best tight end stashes ahead of Week 9.
Analysis
With Drake Maye leaving the field toward the beginning of the second quarter, the brief offensive renaissance the Patriots had been experienced left with him. Jacoby Brissett would pick up right where he left off, hitting 132 passing yards on 5.5 YPA, with no receiver able to reach 50 yards on the day.
At the time of writing, Maye is still firmly in the concussion protocol, so we will move forward with the idea that the veteran will be leading the way against the Titans here in Week 9.
This is an obvious downgrade for Henry —who went about 1.5 quarters before receiving a target from Brissett last week— but the tight end still represents a great safety valve on a team still struggling to find its wide receiver rotation. Tennessee represents a difficult on-paper matchup, but not if we dig into exactly why teams haven’t been throwing on them.
Paired with their own blunders that have given easy starting position(s) to opposing offenses, teams simply haven’t needed to air the ball out, as evidenced by Detroit’s 52-14 win despite throwing for only 94 yards.
The Titans actually rank first in passing yards allowed per game (168.9) but 20th in passing touchdowns (11). This could be an added boon to Henry’s bottom line, as he is the only Patriots player with more than one target from within the opponent’s 10-yard-line (2).
He is available in 61% of Yahoo leagues and should be considered more of a “top streamer” if Maye is cleared to play in time.
