Fantasy Football WR Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:
Cedrick Tillman (Browns), was the highest recommended WR waiver wire pickup this week.
Analysis
If you’ve read this column all year, you may recognize this 35-40% FAAB bid as the highest I’ve recommended all season.
With the swath of injuries to quality wide receivers, and the complete lack of running back value on the waiver wire, I’m not sure we’ll find a better pickup all season than Browns wideout Cedric Tillman.
He was the 74th overall pick in the 2023 draft and did next to nothing as a rookie, but has been an absolute revelation in the post-Amari-Cooper era in Cleveland. In two games: 21 targets, 15 catches, 180 yards, two touchdowns.
Tillman is a 6’3”, 215-pound prototypical outside receiver with great contested catch ability, drawing draft comps to guys like Michael Pittman Jr. or Tee Higgins.
With Jameis Winston in at quarterback — perhaps the biggest positional upgrade we’ll see all season — Tillman has the same WR2 upside we’d expect from those guys in good situations.
You’re very unlikely to find another talented wide receiver with a 10-target upside and a strong distributor at QB on the waiver wire this year. If you need a starter, I don’t mind blowing your budget or spending the top priority.

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football WR Rankings?
Xavier Legette (Panthers) is one of the best wide receiver stashes ahead of Week 9.
Analysis
The rumor winds are swirling around Diontae Johnson and Adam Thielen in Carolina but even if they both stay, Xavier Legette could be worth an add in Week 9.
The rookie has found the end zone in three of his last five contests and he should remain a focus of this offense considering their first-round investment. The QB situation is in flux but Legette has had some degree of success with both Bryce Young and Andy Dalton thus far, so an add now in the event he gets more work as a result of a trade could pay off.
* UPDATE: Diontae Johnson was traded to Baltimore so wheels up on Legette.
