The Hawks Accidentally Double-Booked Their Arena Ahead of Game 6

Chicago Bulls, NBA, News

Thanks to a deep 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds left, Trae Young saved the Atlanta Hawks’ season.

The team’s series against the Boston Celtics is now headed to a Game 6 in Georgia, which I guess isn’t something the State Farm Arena planned for. The Hawks’ home court was apparently scheduled to host Janet Jackson on Thursday night, meaning the arena was double-booked ahead of the do-or-die contest.

The Hawks and Celtics will now have to play Game 6 on a half-court, while Jackson busts a move on the other end. Fine, I’m kidding (but I would watch that!). The two sides were able to figure things out, and the concert is now rescheduled for Friday night. According to the AP, all tickets for Thursday’s show will be valid and refunds will be issued to those who can not attend.

Bummer. I wanted to see Janet suit up!
