The Houston Rockets have moved on from Kevin Porter Jr. in the wake of assault charges. The 23-year-old was arrested earlier this offseason after allegedly attacking his girlfriend in a New York City hotel.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Houston will send Porter Jr. and two future second-round picks to Oklahoma City. The Thunder will immediately waive Porter Jr. and send Victor Oladipo and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to the Rockets. OKC is now on the books for the guaranteed $16.9 million remaining on Porter Jr.’s deal
