When is the 2023 March Madness NCAA Tournament

The 2023 Men’s Division I Tournament starts on March 14, 2023. This is two days after Selection Sunday on March 12. The most significant event in college basketball begins with the First Four round which has play-in games. Here’s a quick rundown of the dates for the college basketball games in the tournament:

First-Second Round: March 16-19

Sweet 16 and Elite 8: March 23-26

What Channels are March Madness Games On

CBS is the official home of March Madness on cable television. You can also catch March Madness live games on TBS, TNT, and truTV throughout the tournament.

Selection Sunday is on CBS at 6 p.m. eastern time. This is when the committee reveals the March Madness bracket and game schedule. The First Four games take place on truTV and TBS. The First and Second rounds are on CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV.

The Sweet 16 and Elite 8 move to just CBS and TBS. For the Final Four and Championship games, you can watch them on CBS in early April.
