2023 Nascar: Toyota Owners 400 odds
Fresh off the heels of our first road course, it’s time for more short track racing. To Virginia and Richmond Raceway we go this Sunday at 3:30 PM est for race seven on the schedule. Let’s see who the favorites are in Richmond with the Toyota Owners 400 odds presented by DraftKings Sportsbook.
Richmond Raceway is one of a handful of short tracks on the schedule and starting position had traditionally been an important precursor to race success. This hasn’t been the case since 2018 as five of the last nine race winners started 11th or worse. And only one winner over this stretch started on the front two rows.

Interestingly, right in line with it’s sponsor, Toyota has been a dominant force in Richmond of late. They have won 16 of the last 27, and 9 of the last 14 races in Virginia.
Last season was no different as Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag during the Spring with all four JGR Toyotas finishing top 10. Then in the Fall, Christopher Bell finished runner-up to Kevin Harvick and all four JGR drivers finished 9th or better once again.

Last year’s results and Toyota’s recent past here are reflected in the opening odds for sure. Kevin Harvick (+550) sits just behind race favorite William Byron (+450). And three of the four JGR Toyotas – Bell, Hamlin, and Truex Jr., sit at +1100 or shorter.
