NOCO 400 Odds - William looks to turn back time and win the Grandfather clock for a second year in a row.

2023 Nascar: NOCO 400 Odds

News, Sports Betting

It’s time for “The Paperclip” Martinsville Speedway. Nascar is in Virginia again for 400 laps of short track racing on one of the most difficult tracks on the schedule. The green flag drops this Sunday, April 16 at 3:00 PM EST and we have your opening NOCO 400 Odds from DraftKings Sportsbook.

As we head to Martinsville Speedway, there are two teams very excited to hit The Paperclip. Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing have combined to win 7 straight on this track. With three different HMS (Elliott, Bowman, Byron) and two different JGR (Truex Jr. x3, Bell) drivers finding victory lane. It was Byron and Bell winning the Grandfather clocks last year.

Last season the domination by HMS and JGR was even more pronounced. William Byron and Chase Elliott of HMS led 397 of the 403 laps during the spring. Then JGR drivers Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell led 353 of the 500 laps during the Fall race. Oh yeah, Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott led 122 of the remaining 147 laps that day too.

NOCO 400 Odds

It’s no surprise then to see last seasons’ two Martinsville race winners at the top of the board. Nor that the top five favorites driver for either HMS or JGR. See the whole opening odds board below.

Just a regular guy who absolutely loves sports. I've been playing, watching, and recreationally betting on sports for over 30 years. My favorite sports to attack at the sportsbook are Football (NFL/NCAAF), College Basketball, and most recently - the NASCAR Cup Series. I'm not an "expert" and I don't have or use betting models, but I do put in the research and apply that to my wagers which are mostly backed by the trending data with of course a little, as Gibbs from the show NCIS would say "Gut Feeling" contributing to the side chosen. Sports betting should be fun and enjoyable so always play within your means and NEVER chase your losses. You can follow me on Twitter @Brian_Twining - Let's try and win some bets!
