The Miami Dolphins have the fewest picks in the NFL Draft this year with just four. This has to do – in part – with them forfeiting their first-round pick after being caught illegally tampering with players in the offseason. In this 7-round Miami Dolphins mock draft, they take three offensive players and just one defensive player.
The Dolphins have picks 51, 84. 197, and 238 with their primary needs being the left guard, right tackle, tight end, and defensive end.

7-Round Miami Dolphins Mock Draft
Round 2 (No. 51 overall)
Pick: Tuli Tuipulotu, EDGE, USC
The Dolphins landed Jalen Ramsey and paired him with Xavien Howard, making their secondary the best it has been in years. They still need to address the defensive line, though, especially on the edge.
Bradley Chubb racked up 28 pressures after getting traded to the Dolphins last season. And, while Jaelan Phillips is still a work in progress at times, he started coming on later in the year. Adding another talent on the edge can help amplify the Dolphins’ pass rush. At 6’3, 266 pounds, and 13 sacks in 2022, he could come in and make an impact.
Round 4 (No. 84 overall)
Pick: Chandler Zavala, Guard, NC State
Zavala didn’t play much prior to 2022. But, at 6’5, 325 lbs, he is on plenty of teams’ radars. Zavala also only allowed four pressures all of last season, an impressive mark.
The Dolphins currently have Liam Eichenburg at left guard who graded out as one of the worst at his position last season after an average 2021.
Round 6 (No. 197)
Pick: Will Mallory, Tight End, Miami
The Dolphins lost Mike Gesicki during free agency and are currently slated to start Durham Smythe. They didn’t seem to value Gesicki much so probably won’t spend a ton of capital on the position. In the 6th round, rolling with a player like Mallory could be a great addition. He caught 42 passes for 538 yards. He could probably step in and handle some of what they wanted out of Gesicki last season.
Round 7 (No. 238)
Pick: Alex Palczewski, Illinois, Right Tackle
The Dolphins have another gap on the offensive line at right tackle. Palczewski comes in at 6’6, 314 pounds, and started 65 games in the Big-10. He didn’t allow a single sack in 2022, including 713 consecutive pass-block snaps at right tackle.
