Day 2 of the NFL Draft Start Time and Date
Rounds 2-3 of the NFL Draft take place on Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m. ET. The first round concludes on Thursday night starting at 8 p.m. ET. The 2023 NFL Draft runs until Saturday and it takes place at Union State in Kansas City, Missouri. The 2022 NFL Draft took place in Las Vegas.
The final rounds of the draft will take place on Saturday, April 29. Rounds 4-7 start at noon ET on Saturday. Fans from teams like the New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, and more will gather to see which potential future superstars will be added to their team.

If you have traditional cable, you can watch the draft on any of the channels that are available. Most likely, you will be watching on ABC. The second and third rounds of the NFL Draft will air on ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network on Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m. ET.

Day 2 Picks in the 2022 NFL Draft
In the 2022 NFL Draft, we saw some teams add some solid talent in the second round, including the New York Jets drafting running back Breece Hall. He will be getting a new quarterback in Aaron Rodgers after the trade with the Packers.
The Seattle Seahawks drafted Kenneth Walker in the second round and he ran for over 1,000 yards in his rookie season. The Detroit Lions got a lot of value out of defensive back Kerby Joseph, as he had four interceptions after being a fourth-round selection in the NFL’s draft last year.
We saw the Jacksonville Jaguars take Luke Fortner in the third round, and he ended up as the starting center for the team as they made the playoffs. Desmond Ridder was the first quarterback taken on Day 2 in 2022 at number 74 overall by the Atlanta Falcons.
