2023 Nascar: AdventHealth 400 Odds

News, Sports Betting

Make sure and grab Toto and prepare for some awesome barbeque, we’re headed to Kansas City, Kansas. Nascar is back on the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway this week which has favored the Toyota’s in the past. Let’s take a look at who the favorites are and all the AdventHealth 400 odds presented by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Kansas Speedway is a favorite among the Toyota garage as the manufacturer has won 5 of the last 8 races here. This extends to the new guys of 23XI as well considering they took the checkered in both events last season. JGR was still fantastic in both trips in 2022 as well, placing at least 3 or their cars in the top 5 both times.

Qualifying, if it actually happens finally, has played a significant role at this 1.5-mile track. 7 of the previous 8 winners started top 10, and only 2 of the previous 22 victors had an official starting position worse than 14th.

The only other true 1.5-mile track Nascar has visited so far this season is Las Vegas and that was an HMS party. Teammates Kyle Larson and William Byron dominated the day leading 239 of the 267 laps. With Byron winning the race and Hendrick sweeping the top 3.

Although they didn’t compete for the win, Toyota still showed up. Placing at least 3 cars among the top 7 finishers with Bubba Wallace besting the group in 4th place.

Advent Health 400 Odds

This week’s odds are very reflective Toyota’s history here at Kansas and HMS’s dominance at Vegas. As is normal, Larson and Byron are the clear favorites at +500 and +550 respectively. Followed by 4 Toyota drivers including Dover winner Martin Truex Jr. (+750). See the entire opening AdventHealth 400 odds board below.

Just a regular guy who absolutely loves sports. I've been playing, watching, and recreationally betting on sports for over 30 years. My favorite sports to attack at the sportsbook are Football (NFL/NCAAF), College Basketball, and most recently - the NASCAR Cup Series. I'm not an "expert" and I don't have or use betting models, but I do put in the research and apply that to my wagers which are mostly backed by the trending data with of course a little, as Gibbs from the show NCIS would say "Gut Feeling" contributing to the side chosen. Sports betting should be fun and enjoyable so always play within your means and NEVER chase your losses. You can follow me on Twitter @Brian_Twining - Let's try and win some bets!
