NFL Wild Card: Cowboys at Buccaneers (7:15 CT) — Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

NFL

We’ve got one more game on the Wild Card schedule, with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers playing host to Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

The Cowboys have looked vulnerable at times and unstoppable at others. Which team will show up tonight? Can Dak Prescott protect the ball, or will his recent penchant for the untimely interception spoil their playoff run?

For Tampa Bay, Tom Brady is a living legend and once again put up prolific numbers in the passing game. Unfortunately for the Bucs, their dominance ends there as they own the worst rushing attack in the NFL and barely squeaked into the postseason.

Players to Watch

Dak Prescott has been an untimely turnover machine when the Cowboys have been at their worst this season. Keeping the ball safe and not giving Brady and the Bucs will go a long way toward the Cowboys beating Tampa Bay.

Michah Parsons is a game wrecker who racked up 13.5 sacks for the Cowboys this season and will surely be a big factor in tonight’s contest. With no semblance of a rushing game, Brady will be doing a lot of dropping back. How many times can his offensive line keep him from Parsons?

Although the Buccaneers were putrid on the ground this season, Leonard Fournette’s alter-ego, ‘Playoff Lenny,‘ tends to shine brightest under the spotlight of the big stage. Since arriving in Tampa Bay, Fournette has logged 555 scrimmage yards in just five games (111 per game). Fournette has a touchdown in each of those games as well.

Lavonte David will have his hands full with the two-headed beast Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott in the Dallas backfield. David’s success, or lack thereof, will impact tonight’s game.
