Super Bowl National Anthem 2023: Who is Singing the Super Bowl 57 National Anthem

With Super Bowl 57 just a few weeks away, the NFL has finally revealed who will sing the National Anthem before the big game this year. The NFL has also announced other pregame entertainment for the game airing on Fox. The teams from the NFC and AFC who win the conference championships on Sunday, January 29 will proceed to the Super Bowl.

Chris Stapleton chosen to sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVII

Chris Stapleton, a renowned country music superstar, will perform the national anthem at Super Bowl 57 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on February 12, 2023. The eight-time Grammy winner has earned widespread recognition in the industry. Stapleton is also the winner of 15 Country Music Association Awards and 10 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Abbott Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing”

Sheryl Lee Ralph, an Emmy award-winning actor and singer will perform the hymn “Lift Every Voice and Sing”. She is one of the stars of the hit comedy series “Abbott Elementary.”

For over 100 years, the NAACP has recognized “Lift Every Voice and Sing” as “The Black National Anthem.”

Babyface will perform “America the Beautiful”

Additionally, Legendary singer, songwriter and producer Babyface will perform “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl LVII pregame show on Sunday, Feb. 12.

Troy Kotsur to perform the National Anthem in American Sign Language

Joining Stapleton before the game will be Troy Kotsur, who will perform the national anthem in American Sign Language. Kotsur won an Academy Award for his role in the film “CODA” in 2022.

Will other singers have ASL performers as well?

Similarly to the Anthem, each singer will be joined by an American Sign Language performer.

A member of the Navajo Nation in Arizona, Colin Denny, a Deaf Native American, will sign “America the Beautiful.”

Deaf performer Justina Miles will not only sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing” but also do the translation to ASL for the Halftime Performances.
