Pro Bowl Games Rosters Have Been Finalized

The NFL’s revamped take on the annual All-Star game takes place this weekend in Las Vegas. With the Super Bowl matchup set and all other teams eliminated from play, the NFL has finalized the rosters for the 2023 Pro Bowl Games.

While the Tyler Huntley news sparked the usual “the Pro Bowl is dead” conversation yesterday, the number of replacement players is actually down this year.

There are 24 players making the trip to Vegas this week that were not named to the initial roster. Of those 24, 15 replaced Eagles and Chiefs players playing in the Super Bowl. That means that there were only nine non-Super Bowl replacements this year. According to the NFL, that’s the lowest number since the AFC vs. NFC format returned in 2017.

If you’re not up to speed on what the event will look like this season, you can check that out here:

Maybe the Pro Bowl is, in fact, dead. I suppose everyone has different tastes. Personally, I’m cautiously optimistic about the new format. If the players don’t care about the traditional game, then individual skills challenges are the way to go.

Anyways, here are the finzalized rosters for the 2023 Pro Bowl Games:
