The Seahawks have 10 picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, including the number five overall pick thanks to the trade with the Broncos. With four picks in the first two rounds, the Seahawks can make some noise. Current 2023 mock drafts show options that include shoring up the defensive line with Jalen Carter from Georgia or potentially getting a quarterback of the future with Florida’s Anthony Richardson.
Also, the Seahawks could go after wide receiver Jordan Addison from USC with the No. 20 overall pick to give Geno Smith more weapons. Edge rusher Lukas Van Ness would be another option late in the first round after a solid season at Iowa.
GM John Schneider has some options in the 2023 Seahawks draft after helping the team get back into the playoffs one year after going 7-10. The team got productive seasons out of fourth-round pick Coby Bryant and fifth-round selection Tariq Woolen in 2022.
