Cincinnati Bengals Mock Draft and Team Needs
The team could add a player at tight end or on the offensive line in the first round. Tight end Michael Mayer from Notre Dame could be a solid choice to add as a weapon for Joe Burrow. Also, Luke Musgrave from Oregon State could be an option.
There is also a whole at safety after Jessie Bates left in free agency to sign a four-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons. Bates started 79 games in his career for the Bengals. Safety Antonio Johnson from Texas A&M is worth considering if he’s still available in the late second round.
The Bengals could also look for a running back in the middle rounds as it seems like former Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon is on his way out. Mixon had just 814 yards rushing in 14 games and averaged under four yards per carry in 2022.
