Buffalo Bills 7-Round Mock Draft 2023

It’s time for a Buffalo Bills mock draft! After another disappointing end to a solid 13-3 Bills season, the NFL Draft is a time to get some more talent on this roster to push for that elusive Lombardi Trophy.

Buffalo has six picks in this year’s draft, starting with the 27th overall selection and ending in Round 6.

The Bills are packed with talent on both sides of the ball but do need some help at wide receiver, linebacker, and offensive line.

For this 7-round mock draft, I’ll be using the Pro Football Focus mock draft simulator.

Last year we won 40 units betting on the NFL Draft! You can find all of our official NFL Draft bets, breakdowns, rankings, and more at 4for4.com. Find out how to get a subscription for as low as $5.

Bills 7-Round Mock Draft

Round 1: Pick 27 Overall

Pick: O’Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida

The interior offensive line is a hole the Bills need to fill. And arguably the best player to help them do just that fell to them at pick No. 27.

Torrence showed NFL-caliber play in the SEC in 2022. At 6’5″, 347 pounds, he’s a plug-and-play selection that will make QB Josh Allen and his running backs James Cook and Damien Harris very happy.

Round 2: Pick 59 Overall

Pick: Daiyan Henley, LB, Washington State

Buffalo needs to replace Tremaine Edmunds, and Henley boasts the athleticism and versatility to fill that void in both pass coverage and run defense. He’d pair well with the Bills’ resident star linebacker Matt Milano.

Round 3: Pick 91 Overall

Pick: Kobie Turner, DT, Wake Forest

The Bills may be looking to add some depth at defensive tackle, particularly with Ed Oliver in the last year of his rookie deal. Turner makes a great addition to this line even if Oliver stays in Buffalo, as he brings excellent pass-rush prowess and versatility.

Round 4: Pick 130 Overall

Pick: Luke Schoonmaker, TE, Michigan

Buffalo doesn’t necessarily need a starting tight end with Dawson Knox playing on the first year of his contract extension this season, but this pick gives them the ability to instill more two-TE sets. Schoonmaker is an excellent receiver with decent blocking skills that should develop over time.

Round 5: Pick 137 Overall (via Cardinals)

Pick: Bryce Ford-Wheaton, WR, West Virginia

The perennial search for that WR2 behind Stefon Diggs leads us to Ford-Wheaton. The former Mountaineer ran a blazing 4.38 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine (the 4th fastest among WRs), and he topped all wideouts in the vertical jump (41 inches).

He may not be fully ready for prime time yet, but with a guy like Josh Allen tossing him the ball, there’s legitimate potential for the rookie whose biggest comparison is DK Metcalf.

Round 6: Pick 205 Overall

Pick: Earl Bostick Jr., T, Kansas

For the final pick, I added more o-line depth to this Buffalo squad. Bostick Jr. was a former tight end and brings athleticism, discipline, and the ability to play on either side to the Bills. The former Jayhawk will likely need time to develop but makes for a nice Round 6 selection.
