The NFL Schedule Drops on Thursday Night, But We’ll Get a Taste Over the Next Few Days
The 2023 NFL schedule will be revealed in its entirety on Thursday night. However, we will get a preview of the schedule in bits and pieces over the next few days. The NFL schedule release will be done in chunks, starting tomorrow, according to a press release this afternoon.
This week, the NFL will release schedule snippets for the upcoming Thursday night event:
- The NFL will release the schedule for the 2023 International Games on Wednesday, May 10. The International Games release can be found on the NFL Network and ESPN.
- For the first time ever, the NFL will play on Black Friday. We’ll learn who will play in the inaugural Black Friday game on Wednesday, May 10. That will be found on Amazon, the home of Thursday Night Football and the inaugural Black Friday Game.
- The NFL will drop select individual regular season games on Fox & Friends and CBS Mornings on Wednesday, May 10, and the Today Show and Good Morning America on Thursday, May 11.

“NFL Network’s coverage will be highlighted by Schedule Release ’23 presented by Verizon at 8:00 PM ET which breaks down the 2023 NFL regular season schedule, division by division, analyzing the top matchups and primetime games. Rich Eisen and Colleen Wolfe host the three-hour show, joined by analysts Maurice Jones-Drew and Emmanuel Sanders.”
The NFL will also have additional coverage available on the NFL+, the NFL’s YouTube channel, and ESPN 2, and select streaming services on Thursday evening. Here’s how you can watch the coverage on the various platforms:
- NFL Network: Schedule Release ’23 — Thursday at 7:00 PM CT, featuring Rich Eisen Colleen Wolfe, Maurice Jones-Drew, and Emmanuel Sanders.
- NFL +: Players Only Schedule Release — Thursday at 7:00 PM CT, featuring Andrew Siciliano and Daniel Jeremiah joined by players Mark Ingram, J.C. Jackson, Tyrann Mathieu, and Cam Jordan.
