Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is officially set to return from the PUP list and open up his practice window today. Murray suffered a torn ACL last season on December 12th against the Patriots.
The #AZCardinals are planning to open the practice window for QB Kyler Murray today, the first step in a slow process to ramp him up, coach Jonathan Gannon said. What’s Next For Kyler Murray?
Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon hinted earlier this week that Murray might be able to open his practice window this week, and today that hint became official. Kyler Murray’s return to practice today will officially begin a 21-day clock for him to return to the active roster.
With that clock in mind, one would assume it would take Murray at least a week to ramp up for game action. I would expect to see Josh Dobbs this Sunday against the Seahawks. Next Sunday against the Ravens could be a potential spot for Murray’s return, but the November 5th date with the Cleveland Browns would seem like the most likely debut game for the Cardinals QB.
Kyler Murray signed a new five-year deal worth $230 million before the 2022 season.
