The New York Giants are taking on the Jets today in East Rutherford, and they may be doing it with their third-string quarterback. After Tyrod Taylor โ who is starting in place of the injured Daniel Jones โ has left the game with an injury. Rookie Tommy DeVito entered the game for the Giants who trail the Jets 7-3 late in the first half.
DeVito was an undrafted rookie out of Illinois who was elevated from the practice squad after Taylor took over for the injured Daniel Jones.
It’s unclear at this point what Taylor’s ailment is but he was seen in visible pain on the Giants sideline and has been helped to the locker room.
The Giants have been decimated by injuries on the offensive side of the ball this season and now they’re playing with their third quarterback of the year.
